A high-protein, flavorful rice bowl featuring glazed caramelized ground beef and a rich, creamy spicy broth made with chicken broth, milk, sriracha, and aromatics.
method
- 1
Cook rice according to package directions and set aside.
- 2
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked and crispy. Add half of the diced green onions and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 3
Add honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame oil to the beef. Turn up the heat and stir until the beef is well coated and the sauce caramelizes.
- 4
In a separate pot, whisk together chicken broth, sriracha, tomato paste, soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- 5
Reduce heat to low and stir in the whole milk and butter. Heat until warmed through, being careful not to boil.
- 6
Assemble the bowls by adding cooked rice and glazed ground beef, ladle the creamy broth over top, and garnish with the remaining green onions.
